2017 Packing List
The trip is getting close and it is time to be sure we have everything needed.
One Carry-On and a Small Backpack is all you can bring.

Documentation
1. Passport (make two copies of your passport – one will
be in the possession of Seeds of Change which you should have submitted to your
teachers and leave one at home)
2. Insurance Card (if you have one) and Medical
Information Form
3. Flight numbers/tickets (furnished by Seeds of Change)
4. Medical Information Form, Rules Form, Media Form (all
provided by Seeds of Change)

Suggested Items:
1. several pairs comfortable t-shirts, long pants, shorts
2. lightweight jacket / fleece / warm shirt
3. bathing suit
4. underwear
5. socks (at least two pair of knee length socks) for
wearing with rubber boots that are provided
6. tennis shoes that are comfortable and will get dirty
7. sandals
8. very lightweight raincoat
9. hat/sunglasses
10. small flashlight with extra batteries
11. water bottle
12. a small day
pack or hip pack for hiking (should fit water bottle, bug spray, etc.)
13. toiletries/sunscreen/insect repellent/personal medications
Note: Insect Repellent and Sun Screen will be given to
Mr. Heintz for packing in the check bag. No Aerosol… pump only and be sure the
bug spray is 50% or more Deet.
Additional items:
1. Computer/Tablet/Ipad/etc.
2. camera, journal, tablet, pencils
3. plastic bags for transporting wet or muddy
cloths/shoes
4. small first aid kit with band-aides, antibiotic cream,
anti-itch cream, medication, pain relievers, tweezers (Mr. Heintz has all this
stuff and much more)
5. travel alarm/watch with alarm/Cell Phone
6. ear plugs (for students sensitive to forest noise at
night)
7. bring a very light weight blanket for sleeping on the
beach during turtle sweeps
Finca La Anita
provides linens, towels, and rubber boots for all students. They have laundry
services for a small charge. The electrical outlets and current is the same as
the United States. Remember that you will be spending the majority of your time
in the rainforest and your clothes will get dirty. Be sure to alert Mr. Heintz
of food allergies/dietary restrictions.
